They are as warm as the much bulkier thermal socks I wear with hiking boots. these are fine enough to be worn with smarter town boots also. The tops are very comfortable.

I have 2 pairs as they really are comfy and cosy, wouldn't wear anything else during the winter now. No Raynauds at all. Just a minor issue, the loose top means the long sock needs pulling up a fair amount.

After ordering socks last year I did query if supplier changed - I was assured not, so I am mystified as to how I have three varying degrees of quality within sock drawer - I fear I will be ordering from elsewhere in the future
